• "A wonderful heritage building with a fabulously appointed kitchen, even had a herb garden and outdoor line for your laundry. The manager was extremely helpful, providing information on local food stores, eateries, key landmarks and just being very welcoming. She gave a recommendation for seafood cafe/restaurant which was spot on. The position of the YHA in Port Elliot was truly fantastic - a lovely stroll down to Horseshoe Bay and beach, to lookouts, small supermarket, historical sites, cafes and the railway station for the Cockle Train. The premises had a good selection of activities such as puzzles, books, table tennis etc. The outdoor area was so relaxing with big tables, chairs, fairy lights and grassed area for lawn games. It was lovely to sit outside enjoying the sunshine and breeze." - Willie
