Very relaxed atmosphere and one of the cleanest. Taking a shower is a bit of a challenge when you’re tall. Don’t bring too much with you, little hanging space. Enjoyed my stay and would it have been anywhere else than Alice Springs I’d stay again !

I wouldn’t recommend staying here, it’s in a terrible port of Alice springs by a very rough park. There seems to be long term residents here and very young children out of control. We couldn’t sleep as they play a movie in the courtyard until late that you can hear in the rooms. The area by the tiny pool is under construction too (not told this) We were woken early by a dispute downstairs where someone smashed a window and there was no one at reception from 8pm-7.30 am. We didn’t feel safe.

I know quite a few YHA hostels in Australia. As a travel agent I wouldn't recommend this one. In the first moment the property feels like it's under construction. A few things could be fixed, cleaned up and made a lot nicer. Extremely loud building. If someone is walking in the room above, it feels like the ceiling is breaking down any minute. Loud staircases beside the rooms, loud doors. Serious problem with aircon. Hot and high humidity in the room.

The kitchen and dinning room is air-coned, which is great. I also liked the movie every night.

INAPPROPRIATE OR OFFENSIVE COMMENTS

We will not publish inappropriate and/or offensive comments.

Inappropriate or offensive comments include, but are not limited to, personal harassment or discrediting of YHA staff, hate speech, sexually explicit language, swearing or references to illicit drug usage.

UNSUBSTANTIATED OR INCORRECT CLAIMS

We will not publish any comments that are not directly related to the hostel, or your experience during your stay.

Hostels will have the right to have negative comments removed if they can prove that claims are unsubstantiated, incorrect or you did not stay at the hostel that you are commenting on.

COMMENTS INCLUDING STAFF NAMES

We will not publish comments that include full staff names, irrespective of whether your comment is positive or negative.
